Strata Critical Advisory is engaged as an
independent electrical authority.
Our role is to provide senior technical judgement, challenge assumptions, and support defensible decisions on high-risk, mission-critical projects.
We operate alongside owners, designers, EPCs, and commissioning teams — not as a replacement for them.
We remain independent from:
Construction means and methods
Equipment supply
Installation and execution activities
This separation ensures our advice is objective, technically defensible, and free from commercial influence.
Our engagements focus on:
Design authority and peer review
Commissioning strategy and oversight
Safe energisation procedures and readiness checks
Electrical risk and resilience assessment
We do not act as:
Engineer of record
EPC or commissioning contractor
Site supervision or clerk-of-works
Unless explicitly agreed, responsibility for execution remains with the appointed delivery teams.
Engagements are typically structured as:
Fixed-fee or milestone-based scopes
Retainer support for active programmes
Remote-first delivery with targeted site attendance
We favour focused, high-impact involvement at critical project stages rather than long-term embedded roles.
Our objective is to ensure:
Risks are identified early
Systems are energized safely
Technical decisions are documented and defensible
Clients engage Strata when failure is not an option and experienced authority is required.
